The donor profile will include your childhood photos, adult photos, medical-related information, audio interview, and other personal information you provided during your screening process. Donor profile can be used for various purposes, including without limitation, promoting Cryomate’s services to potential donors and patients. This promotion will involve the public dissemination of the donor characteristics on Cryomate’s website, promotional materials, and other mediums. Your name and any identified information are confidential and will never be released without your written consent.
To Improve Our Services: We may use your information to analyze trends, administer the website, and gather demographic information to improve our services and tailor them to your needs.

Donor Identity

Upon acceptance into our program, to protect your privacy, you will be assigned a unique name/number to safeguard your identity. Additionally, you will have the option to choose whether to consent to being an 'Open ID' donor or opt-out and be an ‘Anonymous' donor.

If you select the 'open ID' option, you agree that a person born as part of your Open ID donation may access identifying information about you once they reach the age of 18. As an 'Open ID' donor, you agree to participate in at least one contact initiated by the person once they reach the age of 18. The initiation of contact shall be initiated by the offspring only, and not by you. Offspring will need to contact Cryomate to request donor information. Cryomate will then facilitate the connection by reaching out to the donor and informing them about the offspring's request.

If you or your relatives use genealogy or ancestry services and /or undergo DNA testing on platforms like Ancestry or 23andMe, and choose to share connections through their database, you are at risk of being identified by others. It's important for sperm donors to be aware of this and consider privacy preferences when using such services. Please note that Cryomate is not affiliated with these online services, and your personal information and screening results are securely kept confidential in our database.

Protection of Minors' Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years old.
